Responsibilities

  • Build deep, personal, and trusting connections with caregivers
  • Conduct and organize new hire orientation
  • Follow IDPH training policies and procedures to ensure the training experience for all new hires is high quality, organized and consistent
  • Improve and maintain 90 Day, 180 Day and Annual Caregiver Retention including understanding of the market and what are competitors are doing to retain caregiver talent. Recommend programs that will continue to improve retention.
  • Coordinate, Track and Oversee Caregiver Praise and Recognition
  • Work with the Human Resources department to analyze data related to employees onboarding/offboarding experience to identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate and monitor annual training for caregivers in compliance with the IDPH. Assist in the creation of documents and collateral for training.
  • Work with Care Coordination and Scheduling team to assess additional training needed for caregiver population based on skills assessment of caregiver.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-two years of experience working closely with the Caregiver population
  • Must be a CNA, PT or OT preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience training others preferable caregiver or direct support professional population
  • Proven ability to act with integrity, tact, and discretion as well as excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
