Open Shifts:

  • Full-time, 13-hour shifts - Friday, Saturday & Sunday - travel required in between clients!
  • Saturday and Sunday 8-12 hour day shifts
  • Mon-Thurs & every other weekend 8-12 hour day shifts

 

Our ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

Our team of care professionals play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our seniors at home. This involves assisting them with daily living activities, engagement in meaningful activites and conversation, and offering both physical and emotional support during their most vulnerable moments.

Responsibilities

Provide for the personal needs and comfort of the client in their home or assisted living community according to the established plan of care. Services are non-medical in nature and may include the following: 

  • Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, incontinence care, oral hygiene, shaving
  • Ambulation using assistive devices - gait belt, hoyer lift and sliding board
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • Support individual independence
  • Provide creative activities and social opportunities
  • Drive clients to appointments and to run errands
  • Observe and report change in client condition

Qualifications

  • 1+ years' recent experience caring for medically complex seniors
  • Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Experience using a gait belt, hoyer lift or other ambulatory assistive device
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. without restrictions
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance card, and a safe & reliable car
